Our Peach-colored tree tubes (tree shelters) are designed for taking a small seedling (or direct seeded nut) and growing up past the browse line. Treeshelters are not meant to be used as “tree wraps” or trunk protectors for sapling trees.

Plantra Tree Bark Protectors are white, opaque twin-walled (corrugated) tubes that are slit lengthwise and gently coil around the trunk of sapling trees 1 to 3 inches in diameter, providing protection from:
• Buck rub/antler damage
• Rodent damage and girdling
• String trimmers and “weed whackers”
• Lawn mowers (“mower blight”)
Easy to use. Simply open the side of the Tree Bark Protector and wrap around the trunk. For 2 inch and larger trunks use the locking tabs to keep the tube open and create air space around the trunk.
Opaque & reflective. Unlike our treeshelter tubes which are designed to optimize photosynthesis and growth, Plantra Tree Bark Protectors block and reflect sunlight to minimize temperature fluctuations in the bark.
Removable and reusable. Plantra Tree Bark Protectors are UV stabilized for multiple seasons of use. Easy to remove, easy to store, and ready to use again.
