Question: What tree species grow best in Plantra Treeshelters?

Answer: All broadleaf trees and conifers in the cedar family. Here is a partial list of possibilities. It is by no means complete! If you don't see your tree species here, contact us for more information.

  • High value hardwoods, such as black walnut, red oak, white oak, and black cherry
  • Wildlife trees, such as sawtooth oak and fruit trees
  • Fruit tree orchards
  • Riparian plantings (willows, cottonwoods, etc.)
  • Baldcypress (exhibits remarkable growth rates in Treeshelters)
