Plantra® Fertilizer Packets

Don’t forget to give your new seedlings the nutrient boost they’ll need to compete in the field. Early nutrition is important to young seedlings, which is why your nursery relies on fertilizers  to get your planting stock ready for the field. To keep your seedlings well-fed after planting we offer easy to use “slow-release” fertilizer packets that can be dropped in the planting hole when your new seedlings go in the ground to provide a 12-month supply of important nutrients.

Available in two formulations that come ready for the field in rugged “re-sealable” bags that keep moisture out and nutrients in until planting time.

  • 30g “Booster Pak” with its 22-10-7 mixture is specifically formulated for hardwood seedlings and is a perfect companion for seedlings grown in Plantra tree tubes.

  • 10g “RT Pak” 18-9-9-9 [S] “Forestry Blend” is great for conifer seedlings because it contains an RTI exclusive “Continuem Technology” designed to help young trees and shrubs boost their own levels of Terpenes - natural defense compounds that make plants less tasty to deer.
