For Trees planted in wild settings for reforestation, wildlife habitat, windbreaks or mitigation, going from 25% to 100% means the difference between success and failure- and shortening the time until they are successfully established and on their way to achieving your management goals.

For vines and trees planted in vineyards and orchards, going from 25% to 100% means getting into crop production 1 year faster, reducing the ramp-up period to full yields- all the while reducing labor costs.

Plantra started in 2000, but our roots go back 20 years.

Plantra founder Joe Lais brought treeshelters to North American from the UK in 1988. He has worked continuously to optimize grow tube performance- to take a product designed for the moderate maritime climate of the UK and adapt it for peak performance and reduced plant stress in the climatic extremems of North America. Joe is the holder of 3 tree tube and grow tube patents.
